Leon Mezrah

Leon Mezrah is Chairman and Managing Partner of Mezrah Financial.

Leon established the firm in 1966 and quickly distinguished himself as one of the industry's leaders. Mezrah Financial is committed to providing services to privately held companies and high net worth individuals. It is one of the largest firms in the southeast providing full service financial planning and asset protection for over 500 physicians in eight counties. Leon's extensive background has provided him with the knowledge and creativity to offer innovative solutions that enable wealthy individuals to accumulate and preserve wealth on a tax-favored basis. Leon's areas of expertise include accumulating wealth without exposure to market risk, wealth transfer, employee benefits, business continuity and succession planning, and executive benefit plans for small to mid-sized privately held companies designed to attract and etain key employees.

Over 17 years ago his son, Todd, founded Mezrah Consulting which excels in the design, funding, implementation, securitization and administration of non-qualified executive benefit programs to Fortune 500 and Russell 2000 companies. Mezrah Consulting, a separate M Financial firm, currently provides executive benefits and compensation programs to major corporations and banks domestically and internationally. Leon has been a member of a number of elite industry organizations including the International Association for Financial Planning, the National Association of Estate Planning Councils, MDRT, Top of the Table, the Forum, and the Association for Advanced Life Underwriting. He is a member of the Board of Governors for the Centre Club of Tampa, the CEO Council of Tampa Bay and is an active member of his synagogue. He has authored numerous articles and has been a frequent lecturer over the course of his career.

A graduate of the University of Alabama, Leon is married and has two sons who are currently partners in M Financial.
