Todd M. Mezrah

Mr. Mezrah is a graduate of the University of Alabama where he obtained a B.A. in Corporate Finance and Investment Management. In addition, Mr. Mezrah received a Masters Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in employee benefits from Georgia State University in Atlanta, Georgia.

After graduate school Mr. Mezrah pursued a career with the Management Compensation Group (MCG) in Los Angeles (an associate firm of M Financial Group now known as MullinTBG). As a design analyst, Mr. Mezrah evaluated, calculated and analyzed the financial and economic impact of designing and funding executive benefit programs for Fortune 500 companies including sizeable financial institutions.

In 1989, Mr. Mezrah transitioned to a consulting and marketing role as a Principal and Vice President of another M Financial firm located in Los Angeles which specialized in executive benefits and compensation consulting for small to medium size public and privately held companies. The primary focus of his consulting was to create effective tools for companies to attract and retain talent without adverse financial impact at the corporate level.

He has authored several articles on executive compensation in various publications and, as a frequent speaker, has presented lectures on tax, legal, and accounting implications of executive compensation and benefit plans to a number of trade and professional groups. (more)

Currently Mr. Mezrah is the Chief Executive Officer of Mezrah Consulting (also an M Financial member firm) in Tampa, Florida and is responsible for the firm's vision, growth, strategic and technology initiatives. Through Mezrah Consulting's growth and success, the firm has developed a Bank Practice servicing a variety of financial institutions in creating and evaluating their existing BOLI portfolios in addition to providing executive benefit expertise.

In addition Mr. Mezrah is the co-founder of Drawloop Technologies which is a technology company that has developed a cloud based solution to automate document deliverables. More specifically, Drawloop has developed significant efficiencies in automating the creation of sales and marketing presentations. It is important to note that Mezrah Consulting utilizes Drawloop's technology to create customized client deliverables.

His background and expertise lends itself to competent consulting on issues specific to plan design, funding, compliance, security of benefits, implementation and administration of BOLI and executive benefit programs. In several recent projects Mr. Mezrah has:

» Consulted in acquisition of Fortune 20 subsidiary by a $2 billion company. Successfully integrated and enhanced executive benefit programs of both companies without long-term cost.

» Consulted on the product structure, pricing, tax and legal items associated with a new BOLI acquisition for a top 40 bank.

» Lead evaluation of existing Bank Owned Life Insurance (BOLI) portfolio for sizable Northeastern bank. Strategically restructured and transitioned entire portfolio which resulted in institutional pricing and increased yield of approximately 200 bps.

His involvement in the community is best exemplified by his presence on the Board of Directors for the Young Leadership Division of the Jewish Federation. In addition, Mr. Mezrah's industry involvement is best exemplified by his role in AALU's non qualified plan committee. He is also a member of the AALU Legislative Circle and a 12 time qualifier of Top of the Table.
